Timóteo Station
Timóteo, MG, Brazil 2022
During the development of the project, the BCMF team focused primarily on enhancing user comfort by ensuring easy circulation both inside and outside the building. To achieve this, the parking areas, access to the station, and boarding and drop-off zones are covered, guaranteeing passenger protection from rain and the intense sun typical of the Vale do Aço region.
To better accommodate visitor access to the building and provide greater comfort for the arrival and departure of vehicles and pedestrians, the project proposes the implementation of a drive-through area for passenger boarding and drop-off, a parking lot with 16 vehicle spaces, and a bicycle rack with 16 spaces. In addition, the access road to the station includes a bus stop designed to accommodate two municipal buses.
The project also seeks to establish a strong visual identity for the complex: the use of metal structures, glass enclosures, and wood detailing, combined with landscaped gardens that transition between the main spaces, results in an architecture of striking visual impact, capable of becoming a landmark for the Vale do Aço region.
