Where: At The Center   The AIANY Global Dialogues Committee and the Waterfront Committee of the APA, New York Metro Chapter present:

The winning bid for the 2016 Olympics by the Brazilian Olympic Committee for Rio de Janeiro, its urban planning and architecture, will be presented to a New York City audience for the first time. Focusing on the complex aspects of designing this Olympic bid, where Chicago, Madrid, and Tokyo were eliminated, the discussions will include macro urban planning and micro design issues related to the unique characteristics of the city of Rio de Janeiro. A panel discussion and reception to follow.
