Ouro Preto House

House renovation project in front of the Church of the Third Order of Penance of Saint Francis of Assisi, located in Ouro Preto, masterpiece of the brazilian baroque designed by Alejadinho (1738-1814). The idea was to revitalize the address which receives new characters, without changing its centennial essence.

In the renovation, which took four years, the terrace overlooking the church of Saint Francis was the one that most asked for changes. Now suspended, without the earth that pressed the wall, its structure became lighter and safer. The roof, arranged with tiles of the same pattern, preserves its originality.

In the interiors, small adaptations were promoted on the plan, preserving the building.
